Gems & Jewels is a Radical Arts Initiative created by Saafyr dedicated to empowering and uplifting BIPOC Womxn, LGBTQ+ communities, and allies. Through spiritually inspired art, educational and transformative events, earthy products, and holistic wellness offerings, we create space for healing, creativity, and connection.
Saafyr believes in financial freedom. Every dollar goes to building a Mutual Aid Fund as a means of serving liberation for POC young girls & ladies who survived trauma and are looking to elevate their self-love walk into better opportunities to thrive. Originally from Boston, MA, Saafyr is a Spiritual Professional Artist, Educator, and Wellness Warrior. She is also the Creator of Gems & Jewels, a Substitute Teacher, Chair of Boston Black Pride Talent Committee since 2024, Yoga Teacher, Herbalife Coach, and Event Host. Saafyr is studying to get her Masters in Arts and Education while Daily Substitute teaching in Worcester Public Schools.
Her upcoming short film: "Chosen: A Visual Mixtape", is set to release by 2027. Saafyr's latest single, "Blessing" is available for streaming on all platforms. You can find vlogging, dancing, and spreading the important message of RADICAL SELF-LOVE everywhere she goes!

Aabidah is the founder of Sunflowerdilah, which also partners with Saafyr as the Vendor Coordinator for Gems & Jewels and co-writer for their monthly newsletter. Aabidah is deeply passionate about helping the community discover outlets to express themselves confidently and embrace self-love. Through her art, sunflower-inspired products, and other ventures, Aabidah aspires to heal, inspire, and connect with others on a spiritual level. Aabidah aspires to connect with like-minded souls on this beautiful journey of life, creating meaningful connections and spreading light along the way.
